Labone Church of Christ

Church of Christ Labone was formed by few brethren from La church of Christ in April 1995. The church was first moved to holy star school then later moved again to Kings Palace school and finally to the current location of our own.

Some of the key pioneers who led the formation of Labone Church of Christ are; Ev. Philip Obeng Owusu, Ev Peter Amponsah, Ev. Charles Odoi, Ev. Ernest Odoi Asumang, Ev. Emmanuel Adjei Mensah.

The rest are Bernard Ananti-Narh, Frederick Ankama Anang, late Seth Osae Oppong, Late Michael Tsekpo and HON. Nii Amasa Namoale etc.

Women leaders namely: Margaret Obeng Owusu, Madam Kate Amoah, Sis Leticia Osei Tutu, Mrs Florence Adjei, Madam Janet Addison and Mary Adegu etc.

Our assemblies are upbeat and exciting. We do not let tradition bind us, but at the same time, realize that not all tradition is bad. We try our best to exercise the freedom that we have in Christ, all the while, being constrained by His love.
