Fadama Church of Christ

The church of Christ, Fadama – Accra was established on March 20th 2011 by some few dedicated members from the mother church – Darkuman church of Christ – Accra.

The intent of these hard-working and dedicated men and women was to propagate the word of God or the gospel in its purity, power and perfection to the loyalty that is the people of fadama in Accra. Through Hard-work and dedication and the grace of God, the church began to grow through fellowship, worship, ministry and more importantly evangelism.

The leader of the men and women mentioned earlier was evangelist Samuel Oppong who is still the preacher for the fadama branch church of Christ. The other pioneers were Madam Elisabeth Asantewaa, Madam Justina Boateng, Mr Prince Boateng, Mr Robert Taylor, Mrs Jennifer Oppong, Madam Ernestina Ofosu Amoako, Mr Gilbert Ofosu Amoako, Madam Vivian Agyei, Evangelist Joseph Osei, Mr Eric Asante, Madam Regina Arthur and Derrick Agyei.

Through these documented key pioneers and the work of the lord-Jesus, the church grew leaps and bounds, proclaiming the word of God and baptising new converts for Christ.

Indeed the brief history of fadama church of Christ is an affirmation, an attestation and a confirmation of the benevolent, loving, merciful and sufficient God whose ways are superior, exalted and magnificent.
